We had a very nice little room under the roof with a modern great bathroom. The hotel has a good bistro where we had a delicious dinner. The location in the city centre is ideal for walks. Everything was clean, tidy and in good condition. The staff is always friendly and attentive. This accommodation can be recommended!

Special hotel with modern rooms, superbly friendly staff. Location - marvellous and beautiful, right by in a quiet neighborhood as well as the nicest restaurants in the area. Again, not far from a local history museum.

Great Location for travelling around Dumphrieshire and then comimg back to a comfortable hotel and a charming village/harbour.
The room we were allocated was small and in the attic, I kept banging may head on the beams going up the tiny back stairwell.

Beautiful breakfast, excellent location, the staff and the personal touches make this place stand out. Been many times in the past for meals and drinks but this was first time we stayed. The room was OK but very comfortable, at the end of the day though the room is just somewhere to rest your head. Fresh fruit on landing and flowers in the room give it that extra touch. Thanks

Great breakfast, very friendly staff.
Room was sufficient for one night, for a longer stay it would have been a little bit small

Taking my wife for a 4 day valantines break staying at the Selkirk Arms hotel will be one of most memorable hotel stays they couldn't do enough for you, the staff where so friendly as well as the owner's who also getting stuck in every night who was a wonderful man. Everone made us so welcome. Definitely be going back again some day. Hotel was also in a great location to all the shops even though the meals where so good with award winning chef it was to good to venture and the best breakfast we have ever had. Thank you again highly recommend you.Even though we have stayed in some very posh hotels it might be a bit tired in places all of which you start to ignor as everything else is so good we love the Selkirk hotel. Keep up with the good work. Carl & Lez

Good dinner and staff. No Wi-Fi in room made it inconvenient.
